Service Description

Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure that uses an instrument to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer, and has many benefits. It can be used on the face, back, arms and legs. What Microdermabrasion can do -Improve age spots and blackheads -Improve hyperpigmentation (patches of darkened skin) -Exfoliate your skin, resulting in a refreshed appearance -Lessen the appearance of stretch marks -Reduce or eliminate enlarged pores -Treat acne and the scars left by acne This treatment helps to thicken your collagen, which results in a younger looking complexion. Collagen is a protein in your skin which is abundant when you're a child and makes skin appear taut and smooth. Collagen production declines as we age, resulting in looser, uneven skin. Contraindications -Cuts -Scar tissue (6 months minor operations, 2 years major operation) -Bruising/Swelling -Areas where topical Accutane has been used -Undiagnosed lumps and bumps -Sunburn -Heat Rash -Recent Fractures (3 Months) -Laser Resurfacing -Pregnancy -Medium or deep Peels -Laser Hair Removal (wait 1 week) -Taking Accutane medicine -Oral Blood thinners -Hypersensitive Skin -Irritated skin/Sunburn/Broken Skin -Fever -Skin Cancer/Chemotherapy Pre-Treatment Two to three days prior to treatment, discontinue using all alpha hydroxy acid products (those containing glycolic or lactic acid), salicylic acid products, retinoids (Retin A, Renova, Differin and Tazorac) and other topical acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide. If in doubt about using any product please seek medical advice. The following procedures should not be performed for a minimum of 7 days before microdermabrasion: -Waxing -Tweezing -Electrolysis -Laser Treatments (any kind) -Injections (collagen, Botox) -Chemical peels (any kind) -Facials


Cancellation Policy

All cancellations and/or reschedule requests are required 48hrs prior to scheduled appointment time to avoid forfeiting of any deposit paid. Groups of four or more require 72 hours notice. All clients are required to have a card on file for booking. Failure to call or email the receptionist to cancel or request a reschedule 48hrs prior to the appointment will result in a charge of a least $20 or 50% of the total service balance deposit. Late arrivals of 15 minutes or more are subject to technician discretion in order to keep the appointment. CHECK-IN: When you are booked for any treatment, please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled reservation. For your safety and ours, no extra guests are allowed during services. Bringing a guest will result in cancellation. REFUNDS: All sales are Final. We offer a 10% Military Discount.
